Ronja had a lot of trouble with stealing when we first got her (she would steal all my sandwiches) but now I simple say “leave it” and she’ll back away. The strange thing is, we only taught this behavior with the cats food, but now she even leaves my sandwiches alone.

good one! We use this without clicker. We just renforce when the dog stop muggin first and then, when naturally watch : first my arm, my shoulder, my face … We called this doggy zen. helps dogs to learn self control, calm and naurally look at pet owner.
